Great buy
Ordered this product over a year ago and it has been a lifesaver when traveling internationally. Very good hair dryer and switching between voltage settings is so easy. Manufacturer warns not to use the high setting when switched to 220volts, and believe me, you won't need it as the low setting at 220 volts functions as 'high'. VERY SMALL which is great for packing, but again, very good quality hairdryer despite its size (not your typical cheap travel dryer). When I purchased it, it was on sale, so my price was significantly lower than the current price. I would suggest shopping around to see if you can find it cheaper. Additionally, if shipping costs deter you, I have seen this same product at Linens N Things.

Great while it lasted!

It was great while it lasted. Heat/cool system worked well. Enjoyed it 5 months and the off/on switch went out. Seems to be no way to fix it at this point. Very disappointed that there is no phone or computer help to get it fixed. I really liked it. I would rate it 5 stars while it worked but only one star on length of time it lasted!

Blow Dryer from Outer Space
I presented this to my wife for her birthday recently and she absolutely loves it. Beyond the way cool look of this thing when it lights up, the heat it puts out seems somehow less harsh on the hair. Also the cool shot button nicely sets the hair afer it has been shaped.

Might need to buy a few more because there are a few teenage girls in the house who also think this is one very slick dryer so it keeps disappearing.

Hair dryer isn't all that bad
I was a little hesitant in ordering this hair dryer, based on the first reviewer's comments. I wanted a compact travel ionic hair dryer and this seemed to fit the bill. When I got it, I was pleasantly surprised that this IS a compact model. It is smaller than the Conair travel hair dryers that I have looked at. As for performance, it does a comparable job as my full-sized hair dryer.

Wish it was more compact
It seems like a decent hair dryer. I got it for use outside the U.S. and am looking forward to trying out that feature. Even though the dryer folds up, it is still rather bulky for travel and not really compact as advertised. If I had to do over, I would probably order a smaller unit.

Tourmaline Hair Dryer
I ordered this one instead of the several hundred dollar alternative. As far as I can tell, my hair dries faster and is less damaged since I began using this product. I've never used a more expensive tourmaline dryer and at this point don't feel a need to do so.

Lead on the cord is disconcerting
Why Revlon would import a dryer with lead issues is something I don't understand. If I have to wash my hands after using the dryer, what about all the surfaces the cord touches (sink, counter, towels)? The dryer itself works great, but the lead issue scares me.

I didn't pay much for this hair dryer, but I sure do like it. I've had it about 1 month now, use it several times a week. It's powerful and runs well. I'd recommend it for sure! Especially for the price! Why pay 50+ on something just as good?

Purchased two of these and they work great!
I bought two of these and they work perfectly. My wife uses another Revlon Turbo Dryer that is a similar model and we wanted to get two for the other bathrooms. These two work just as well with plenty of instant very hot air as the similar model that we already own.

It's . . . okay
The title says it all. I was so hyped about getting this great professional hair dyer with fast-drying ionic technology bla, bla, bla.
It's a regular hair dryer. It's loud, and it's certainly is not for curly-haired type of folks. (I mean really curly and thick) That hint was for all the sista' out there with a head full of naturally thick hair considering this for themselves- don't do it to yourself.
It can be done, but the hair MUST be parted in many sections and the hair must also be combed with a regular comb before starting the drying process to detangle or the comb will flip off everytime.

I plan to invest in a more powerful yet quiet dryer, with a strong comb attachment.
I would like to say to people without my hair type. This is not a terrible dryer. It just didn't fit my needs.
This would be perfect for someone with a thinner, looser-curl head of hair as long as you don't mind noise. It sound like your typical dryer.
There are lower noise dryers that allow you to dry your hair and hold a conversation with someone- because, for some reason when I dry my hair while other people are around somebody always has a question to ask everytime I turn the dryer back on.
I hope this review helped someone.

great dryer for curly hair
I have had this dryer for over a year and have had no problems with it catching fire. However, I don't use it for blowing out, etc. I have naturally curly hair and the diffuser attachment is the best! It diffuses the air flow and doesn't leave a gap in your hair from a direct blast. I only gave it three stars because the hot setting can burn your hair/scalp if you're not careful. Just move the dryer around when you feel things getting hot and you should have no problems.

The best hairdryer I've owned
I have naturally curly hair so using a hair dryer can sometimes lead to frizz, but this hair dryer has been great. It has several heat settings, an attachment for straightening and I LOVE the retractable cord. I will definitely look at Revlon again if I need another.

Best Hair Dryer I Have Had
This product has been great to me. This was the first time I have ever traveled. I was in France. I switched the voltage on the dryer before I left, which was so easy. It said in the instructions to keep it on low when using the dual voltage, which I was surprised of how high low was. It quickly dried my hair!! The folding feature was very beneficial in travel as well as the retractable cord. I will continue to use this product when I get home in America!

Travel size?
This dryer works well, but it is not travel size, it is a full size dryer with a folding handle, so don't expect a small size dryer to arrive.

The best blowdryer!
This is the THIRD blowdryer in this model that I've owned. The only reason the 2nd one failed was because I dropped it on the floor so many times over the last four years, and the on/off button finally cracked and got stuck in the ON position. The motor is still fine! This model gives you the ultimate choice in heat and fan speeds, coupled with excellent design that makes it very comfortable to wield in a variety of positions. For the price, it cannot be beat.

Great hair dryer
I have bought at least 3 of this same model. I use it every day so it has a life of about a year, which I think is normal. I did have a problem with the most recent one I purchased. The back of the handle (where the rubber seam is) gets extremely hot after only a few minutes. I've never had this problem before. I called Revlon, and they directed me to the manufacturer Helen of Troy 800-487-7273. They told me to just send it back and they would send me a new one!

Great Product
I love this hair dryer so much I bought it twice. The first one I took from my mother because I was impressed by how quickly it dried my hair. I have wavy/frizzie hair so I blow dry on a daily basis. The temperature and speed are just right and it dries hair quckly.

Non Steam Steam/Ion/Ceramic Straightener.
Well unless they kept sending me the wrong straightener then here is the problem. No place in the box or on the product does it say steam. I got two because I sent the first back thinking they sent me the wrong one... unfortunately they sent the same one again. I think it may have been a good straightener but it didn't do STEAM and that is maily why I was purchasing this item. Perhaps they did send me the wrong one twice... I will never know since I sent both back and never used either. I wanted Steam and that was something it doesn't do...

This is a lifesaver!!!
I was all set to purchase a very expensive ceramic flat iron (over a hundred dollars) but I thought I'd give this one a try.

I have very wavy curly frizzy hair and I have to spend at least an hour blow drying my hair straight with a boar brush and then putting it up in velcro rollers to make to all smooth and stright~ alot of time and products. And by the end of the day, my hair would still kink or curl up. This flat iron has eliminated all of this. This has been my favorite beauty purchase ever made!!! I am truly stunned by the results.I don't even have to blow dry my hair stright all the way before I use this flat iron and I instantly get super straight hair. Think of the typical straight asain hair. My hair even looks like a couple inches longer!

Good Straightener
Overall, this is a pretty good straightener for the money. It heats up quickly and cools down quickly too. It gets hot, but doesn't feel like you're frying your hair. Straightens hair nicely although, unlike really expensive hair strengtheners, when you straighten your hair, you can sometimes get some hairs that stick up; problem can be fixed using a light misting of hair spray or other hair products. Saw this product in consumer reports. Would recommend to those who don't want to buy a straightener for $100+.

Automatically shuts off before I'm finished drying!
This dryer has the irritating feature of automatically shutting off long before I'm finished using it; it can only then be turned back on a few minutes later. Perhaps it's an inherent safety feature to prevent it from overheating, but even if so shouldn't it be designed to not overheat until it goes well past normal usage?

A decent product
The only complaint I have is that the bristles come out very easily. The first time I used it I was surprised at the amount of bristles in the sink. Otherwise, easy to work with and has the right amount of power for my fine hair.

Actually works for women of color!
I have coarse, kinky hair and blow dryers typically either (1)short out while I'm blow drying my hair or (2)do not blow out my hair very well leaving a lot of kink in there. That said, I was skeptical of how well this product would work for women like me. This blow dryer not only stayed the course until my hair was dry, it also gave me the extension I was looking for in order to braid my hair more easily and made it feel smooth! The sideways design also helps me to dry my hair faster. I only used the wide toothed comb and thus far it has held up. Very satisfied.

Good Hair Dryer with some Minor Flaws
This is a good little basic hair dryer. I don't do anything fancy with my hair and it suits my purposes great. I have short, curly hair that I straighten and this blow dryer does a nice job of straightening when I have the attachment on. Also, if I decide to leave my hair curly I can take the attachment off and do the whole "scrunch" thing and my hair looks great. It is definitely worth what I paid for it. I have a small bathroom and I really like its compact size and that it folds up. The hot dries really fast and I like the cold blast feature.

That said, the high/low/on/off switch drives me insane. If my hands are a little bit wet (which given that I'm drying wet hair they often are) I have a hard time getting a grip on the switch with my thumb and getting it turned off and on. Also, it seems like the nozzle doesn't attach 100% (maybe about 95%) so it just falls off sometimes while I'm drying my hair. By this time the nozzle is really hot so I have to wait for it to cool before I can put it back on to finish drying my hair.

But for what I paid for it, it is definitely worth it.

This dryer is terrific. I can blow dry my hair in half the time that it took me with my old dryer. The attachment directs the heat. Wonderful.

So far, so good....
I bought this one because it was the perfect size for my limited space and should I ever travel again, it can come with me with duel voltage. Also, I wanted the cool shot button and the ions as well. I have to say the high switch is real high and the low real low, not much in the middle with this. This doesn't bother me so much in a hair dryer. I haven't noticed a difference in the ions except my hair seems to dry faster. I recently colored and I don't use it every day either, so in time I'll know if it makes my hair any healthier or not. I like the style and color of this dryer also, all the other ones seem so tacky.

The best!
I always look for a hair dryer that has separate heat and air flow settings, and a removable filter. This has those features. I had been curious about the ionic feature and when my conair died, I decided I'd purchase one with an ionic feature -afterall, it was only about 5 bucks more? I was skeptical enough to keep all the packaging in order to return it if it didn't work. Afterall, who needs a dryer that doesn't work? I didn't have to return this one.
Have you ever left your hair in a towel until it was completely dry? That is how your hair will feel when you use this dryer, only it will take a much shorter amount of time. And be styled the way you want it to be!
I've found that this dryer does dry faster, and leaves my hair softer and shinier and fuller than my old conair.
I've got long thin hair, so thin that it NEVER keeps a curl, or the body and fullness that is there when you first dry it. This dryer allows my hair to keep body and fullness throughout the day.

I'm not sure about other ionic dryers, but this one has a switch to turn off the ionic feature if you'd like - although I can't imagine why.
I would highly recommend this hair dryer.

Great hair dryer
I really like this hair dryer. It is lighter than my last dryer, and very easy to manage. I like the setting options: cool, warm, or hot; and low or high. I use the warm & high settings. I think it dries my hair a little bit faster than my last dryer, and my hair feels Great! No frizz, not fried, just smooth and shiny. My hair is fine, not thick or coarse, so maybe that makes a difference in my experience.

Excellent! Perfect for my thick hair.
I have thick shoulder length hair, that usually takes 35 - 40 minutes to dry. With this dryer, I'm done in 20 minutes and my hair looks smooth and soft. I was skeptical about the whole ionizing thing, but it has made a big difference with my hair. The removable
filter was the deciding factor. I've thrown away dryers just because I couldn't clean them. Excellent product!

The Wife Says "Best Ever" For Her....
This hair dryer is the third in a series of attempts to find the right hair dryer for my wife, who has long thick hair. The first one was a Vidal Sassoon that had ionic technology, but didn't get near hot enough. She was drying her hair for > 20 minutes.

The second attempt was the Revlon RV469 ceramic, which was much quieter and got hotter, but didn't have much air flow. Also, it is quite heavy. It was better than the first dryer, but not hair drying nirvana.

This dryer (Revlon RV544) has easily cut my wife's drying time in half. She has very thick & long hair, and the high heat setting makes quick work of it. It gets hot enough that I actually tone it down to warm for myself (I have short, thick hair) whenever I have to use the dryer. I think the air flow settings are perfect. The dryer is also nice and light, and fits in a bathroom drawer easily, unlike some of the bulkier models out there.

My wife thinks this is the best dryer she has ever had. We highly recommend it.

I cannot say enough good things about this dryer! It dries incredibly quickly, is the lightest I have ever owned, and is very reasonably priced. I was going to buy the T3 Tourmaline for nearly 10 times the price, until I realized the seller would not honor its warantee on products purchased through Amazon. I have forever retired my previous ceramic dryer, which strained my arm so much, I considered installing a bracket on my body to hold it up. Other small details that make a difference: loop for hanging; buttons well-placed so on/off and cold setting are not hit by accident; comfortable to hold by nozzle instead of handle if desired.

Not for Fine Hair
This dryer, while lightweight and easy to hold, blows too hard and fast on low speed, and too cool on hot setting. It's very difficult to get the right speed and heat setting for fine hair.
